Structural, optical, photoluminescence and magnetic investigation of doped and Co-doped ZnO nanoparticles

Abstract We report here the structural, optical, photoluminescence (PL), and magnetic investigation of Zn 1−x−y Fe x M y O nanoparticles. The lattice constants crystallite size are decreased by Fe, followed a further decrease up to (Fe + M) = 0.30. Although single value energy gap (E g ) found for pure Fe-doped two values E gh gl co-doped samples. generally increased increase Cu-series, whereas it Ni-series. refractive indices n K T proposed different methods both series. doped ZnO depressed density carriers (N/m*), again residual dielectric constant ϵ L an but loss factor tan δ increases slightly with Ni-series, decreases in Cu-series. significant depression optical conductivity σ opt was obtained, which higher PL shows four visible emissions. Interestingly, IR emission at about 825 only obtained Furthermore, blue (I than UV ), [(I /I > 1], greater Ni series Cu. exhibits diamagnetic behavior, samples exhibit ferromagnetic magnetization Ni-series current results recommend nanoscale some advanced devices.
